Delivery Policy
Last updated: March 18, 2026Article 1: Delivery Zones
Products purchased on the Motodistri website are eligible for delivery to Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Sweden. Orders that do not comply with these geographical zones may be cancelled and refunded.
Article 2: Delivery Times
We make every effort to dispatch your orders as swiftly as possible. Delivery times are provided for informational purposes only and are contingent upon the destination and the nature of the products:
- Standard Delivery (Metropolitan France and Belgium): Generally 2 to 4 business days.
- Corsica and Remote Areas: Generally 7 business days.
- Specific Products (heavy, bulky, or hazardous materials such as certain batteries): These items require specialized transport. The delivery time may be extended by an additional 48 to 72 hours.
- Rest of Europe: Delivery times and rates vary according to the country of destination and the weight of the parcel. The estimated timeframe shall be communicated to you upon validation of your order, prior to payment. Please note that delivery is only available to select European countries.
In the event of force majeure (transport strikes, severe weather conditions, pandemics, etc.), these timeframes may be exceptionally extended. A delay in delivery shall not give rise to any penalty or compensation.
Article 3: Shipping Costs
Delivery costs are borne by the buyer (unless otherwise stated during promotional offers). They are automatically calculated upon validation of the shopping cart, based on the weight of the order, the nature of the products, and the country of destination. The exact amount is always indicated prior to final payment.
Article 4: Receipt of the Parcel (IMPORTANT)
It is at this precise moment that the transfer of liability occurs. Upon delivery, it is the Customer's exclusive responsibility to verify the condition of the packaging and the contents of the parcel in the presence of the delivery personnel.
- In the event of damage or a damaged parcel: You must imperatively refuse the parcel or issue clear, precise, and detailed handwritten reservations on the carrier's delivery slip (e.g., "Parcel opened, one item missing," "Crushed cardboard, scratched part").
- The simple mention "subject to unpacking" holds no legal value.
- Any absence of precise reservations on the delivery note shall constitute final and irrevocable acceptance of the delivery. No claim for transport-related damages may be accepted subsequently if this procedure has not been strictly adhered to.
In the event of a dispute upon receipt, you must notify us by e-mail at motodistri@gmail.com within a maximum period of 48 hours, supported by photographic evidence.
Article 5: Unclaimed Parcels or Incorrect Addresses
The Customer is responsible for the delivery information provided during the ordering process. Should a parcel be returned to us due to an incomplete or incorrect address, or because the parcel was not claimed at a pick-up point within the allotted timeframe, the order shall be cancelled. The actual shipping costs (both outbound and return) shall be deducted from your refund, and administrative handling fees may apply.
Article 6: Lost or Delayed Parcels
If you have not received your parcel within 7 days following the estimated delivery date, please contact our customer service. We shall initiate an investigation with the carrier; this investigation may take up to 21 days. If the parcel is located, it will be rerouted to you. If it is declared lost by the carrier, we will offer you either the reshipment of the same product at our expense or a full refund.
